John Hamblin joined the homeless charity Shekinah in 2002 and was appointed CEO in 2010.
John sits on a number of local, regional and national advisory groups around homelessness / complex needs. Shekinah currently deliver a range of support services across Devon and Cornwall. John and Shekinah have worked closely with Torbay Council for the last 15 years and organisationally are still clearly committed to ending the injustice of street homelessness.
John passionately believes that relationships are key to work and that regeneration should focus not only on buildings and space, but also on people and communities.
When not working John can be found green woodworking, fishing or wandering local woodlands.
