Works on a new wing at Mayfield School in Torquay have been completed, providing additional facilities and space for pupils with complex education, health and care needs. The school now benefits from 1:1 office and session rooms, group session rooms, a training room, mobility washrooms, accessible kitchens and storage areas thanks to the new extension.

Cockington Court’s Apple Day will take place on Sunday 16 October between 11am and 4pm with free entry to the public.   A traditional apple press on the front lawn will be the star attraction with demonstrators turning apples into juice and describing how to transform the juice into delicious homemade scrumpy.
